Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge is located just a short walk or drive from the Rushaga Gorilla Trekking Gate of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The lodge can be accessed by road from Kampala or Entebbe via Mbarara and Kabale, a scenic journey of approximately 8–10 hours. Travelers may also choose to fly to Kisoro or Kihihi Airstrip, followed by a road transfer to the lodge. For visitors combining Rwanda and Uganda safaris, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge is also conveniently accessible from Kigali, Rwanda.
